After a botched rescue attempt by the crew of the 101, Jack finds himself with Silver, a hyper-intelligent gorilla, lost in the conduits of time. Brock, losing his life yet again, reconstitutes in his present with a fractured psyche and an interest in self improvement through furthering his experience with manufactured immortality.
